The Metro-East Lutheran Knights topped the host Southwestern Piasa Birds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Knights now have a 11-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Civic Memorial for a non-league test on Saturday, October 14.
The Piasa Birds (3-25) will now prepare for their test against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL). The Cavaliers enter the South Central test with a 18-9 record. In their last test, Carlinville gained a win over Gillespie (Gillespie, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
