The Middletown Cavaliers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host William Penn Colonials to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Georges Tech for a Blue Hen Flight - A game on Friday, October 13. Middletown will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 9-3.
The Colonials (3-7) will now prepare for their game against DuPont (Wilmington, DE). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, DuPont gained a win over Glasgow (Newark, DE), 3-0, in a league game.
