Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA) backers left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA), 3-2 in a non-league match.

With the loss, Moniteau drops to 7-10 on the campaign. The Warriors host Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Foxburg, PA) to battle the Falcons in a Keystone Shortway match on Thursday, October 12. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 3-11. Allegheny-Clarion Valley lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA)
