Kentucky High School Volleyball - Simon Kenton tips Scott

October 11, 2023: Covington, KY 41015

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) and the host Scott Eagles (Covington, KY), saw Simon Kenton's volleyball squad nip Scott by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Simon Kenton upgrades its record to 26-8 on the year. The Pioneers host Williamstown (Williamstown, KY) to play the Demons in a District 32 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 9-17. Williamstown lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY)

The Eagles now own a 20-15 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Brossart for a District 37 bout on Tuesday, October 17. Scott will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-13.
