Oklahoma High School Football - Fairland trounces Afton

In Friday's league match, the host Fairland Owls football squad scored a decisive 55-6 triumph over the Afton Eagles.

The Owls (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Hominy (Hominy, OK). The Bucks come into the A-II District 4 match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Hominy was routed by Woodland (Fairfax, OK), 34-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK) in a A-II District 4 match, on Thursday, October 17. Afton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 6-0 record after their 34-14 league win over Hominy (Hominy, OK).
