Colorado High School Football - Alamosa defeats Gunnison

October 11, 2024: Alamosa, CO 81101

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) and the visiting Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), witnessed Alamosa's football squad topple Gunnison by a tally of 44-15.

The Mean Moose (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Panthers enter the 2A Intermountain contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Montezuma-Cortez thwarted Salida (Salida, CO), 34-27, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cowboys confront the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a 2A Intermountain contest, on Friday, October 18. Gunnison will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 30-28 league loss to Bayfield (Bayfield, CO).
