Michigan High School Football - Whittemore-Prescott overwhelmed by Alcona

The Alcona Tigers walloped the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals football team by a score of 74-16 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI) in a North Star - Big Dipper (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Alcona will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Hurons enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 54-0 non-league loss to Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI).

The Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Heston Academy bounced Hillman (Hillman, MI), 26-0, in a non-league challenge.
