The Almont Raiders walloped the visiting Richmond Blue Devils football team by a score of 43-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders face the North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI) in a Blue Water Area challenge, on Friday, October 18. Almont will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Broncos go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 31-21 league loss to Armada (Armada, MI).

The Blue Devils (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Algonac (Algonac, MI). The Muskrats go into the Blue Water Area challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Algonac was ripped by Yale (Yale, MI), 42-7, in a league challenge.
