Texas High School Football - Tenaha edged by Alto

The Alto Yellowjackets edged the host Tenaha Tigers football team by a score of 28-26 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets face the Lovelady Lions (Lovelady, TX) in a 2A-2 Region III District 11 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Alto will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 41-21 league win over Overton (Overton, TX).

The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A-2 Region III District 11 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Enterprise was edged by Grapeland (Grapeland, TX), 44-0, in a league challenge.
