Michigan High School Football - Anchor Bay edged by Chippewa Valley

The Chippewa Valley Big Reds edged the visiting Anchor Bay Tars football team by a score of 24-21 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Big Reds face the Port Huron Northern Huskies (Port Huron, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Chippewa Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 20-0 league win over Mott (Warren, MI).

The Tars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Grosse Pointe South held off Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI), 49-14, in a league challenge.
