Nebraska High School Football - Twin Loup tops Anselmo-Merna

October 11, 2024: Merna, NE 68856

The Twin Loup Wolves football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes to 20 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Burwell for a D2 District 6 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 18. Twin Loup will meet a Longhorns squad coming off a 52-12 league win over Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Anselmo-Merna drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE) to meet the Rebels in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-5. Arcadia/Loup City lost 26-22 in their recent league test against Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE)
