California High School Football - Atascadero nips Pioneer Valley

October 11, 2024: Santa Maria, CA 93454

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA) and the host Pioneer Valley Panthers (Santa Maria, CA), witnessed Atascadero's football squad edge Pioneer Valley by a tally of 28-21.

The Greyhounds (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Righetti (Santa Maria, CA). The Warriors enter the Sunset contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Righetti was nudged by San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA), 17-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA) in a Sunset contest, on Friday, October 18. Pioneer Valley will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 42-34 league loss to Atascadero (Atascadero, CA).
