Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA), 28-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Auburn advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Rockets host Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-4.
The Bernardians now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sutton for a Dual Valley battle on Saturday, October 19. St. Bernard's Central Catholic will play a Sammies team coming off a 36-20 non-league loss to Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Sammies record now stands at 1-4.
