Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Salome Frogs (Salome, AZ), 55-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Bagdad advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Sultans host Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 1A West (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 7-1. Mohave Accelerated won 28-22 in their recent non-league battle against El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ)

The Frogs now own a 4-4 record.
