The Herculaneum Black Cats got by the visiting Bayless/Hancock football team by a score of 13-9 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Cats face the Perryville Pirates (Perryville, MO) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Herculaneum will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 49-14 non-league win over Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL).

The (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Windsor (Imperial, MO). The Owls go into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record.
