The Southern Guilford Storm felled the visiting Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles football team by a score of 12-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Storm face the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a Mid-State 3A challenge, on Friday, October 18. Southern Guilford will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 38-13 league win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Golden Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Bison go into the Mid-State 3A challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, High Point Central lost by Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 42-0, in a league challenge.
