Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA), 49-23 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Central Private advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Redhawks host Varnado (Angie, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Varnado lost 22-6 in their recent league battle against West St. John (Edgard, LA)

The Falcons now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Benjamin Franklin will play a Swamp Owls team coming off a 43-0 non-league loss to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 3-2.
