The Bethune-Bowman Mohawks were victorious over the host St. John's Islanders football team by a score of 28-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mohawks face the Scott's Branch Eagles (Summerton, SC) in a A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Bethune-Bowman will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 54-12 league loss to Cross (Cross, SC).
The Islanders (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC). The Bobcats enter the A Region 5 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Baptist Hill lost by Branchville (Branchville, SC), 37-20, in a league challenge.
