Texas High School Football - Big Sandy holds off Elysian Fields

The Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX) football tipped the host Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX), 25-20 in Friday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Waskom for a 2A-1 Region III District 10 outing on Thursday, October 24. Big Sandy will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 31-17 league win over Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Elysian Fields drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Ore City (Ore City, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A-1 Region III District 10 outing on Friday, October 25. The Rebels come into the outing with a record of 0-7. Ore City lost 45-14 in their recent league outing against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX)
