The Big Spring Steers felled the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets football team by a score of 49-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Steers face the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a 4A-1 Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 42-12 non-league loss to Bushland (Bushland, TX).
The Yellow Jackets (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamesa (Lamesa, TX). The Tornadoes go into the 3A-1 Region I District 2 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Lamesa lost by River Road (Amarillo, TX), 35-34, in a non-league challenge.
