Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX), 20-10 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Bishop McNamara advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mustangs host St. John's (Washington, DC) to play the Cadets in a Washington Catholic - Capital battle on Saturday, October 19. The Cadets go into the battle with a record of 4-2. St. John's lost 28-13 in their recent league battle against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)

The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host San Marcos for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. Cornerstone Christian will play a Rattlers team coming off a 50-0 league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 0-7.
