The Brick Memorial Mustangs football team (Brick, NJ), was tipped 27-24 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ)

With the win, Point Pleasant Boro advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Panthers host Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, October 18. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Manasquan lost 52-20 in their recent league bout against St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ)
