Mount View Golden Knights (Welch, WV) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV), 20-10 in a league battle.

With the win, Mount View advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Golden Knights travel to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV) to play the Panthers in a Coalfield A battle on Friday, October 18. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Tug Valley won 41-6 in their recent league battle against River View (Bradshaw, WV)

The Bison now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Tolsia for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Buffalo will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Van (Van, WV). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.
