The Gunter Tigers football squad scored 69 points and limited the visiting Callisburg Wildcats to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Howe for a 3A-2 Region II District 7 test on Friday, October 18. Gunter will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-6 league loss to Bells (Bells, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Callisburg drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Howe (Howe, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 test on Friday, October 25. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-4.
