The Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy] Cougars football team (Concord, NC), dropped 61-40 in Friday's league bout with the host Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC)

With the win, Metrolina Christian Academy advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to encounter the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 18. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Charlotte Country Day School lost 20-17 in their recent league bout against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC)

The Cougars now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee for a NCISAA Western bout on Friday, October 25.
