North Carolina High School Football - Starmount smashes Carrboro

October 11, 2024: Boonville, NC 27011

The Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) football trounced the visiting Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), 55-6 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Rams now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Wilkes for a Northwest 1A outing on Friday, October 18. Starmount will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-10 league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Carrboro drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes outing on Friday, October 18. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 0-7. J.F. Webb lost 29-26 in their recent league outing against Louisburg (Louisburg, NC)
