The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets walloped the visiting North Central Hurricanes football team by a score of 62-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets play the Berchmans Academy Saints (Grand Coteau, LA) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Saints go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 56-14 league loss to St. Edmund (Eunice, LA).
The Hurricanes (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Trojans go into the 1A District 5 challenge with a 4-2 record.
