Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA), 52-35 in a league battle.
With the win, Cedar Grove improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Saints host Riverdale (Riverdale, GA) to play the Raiders in a AAA Region 5 battle on Thursday, October 24. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 0-7.
The Eagles now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Douglass for a AAA Region 5 battle on Friday, October 18. North Clayton will play a Astros team coming off a 39-13 league win over Luella (Luella, GA). The Astros record now stands at 5-2.
