The Chaffee Red Devils football squad scored 70 points and limited the host Veritas Christian Academy Eagles to 28 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scott City for a SE Missouri - West test on Friday, October 18. Chaffee will meet a Rams squad coming off a 44-35 league loss to Charleston (Charleston, MO). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Veritas Christian Academy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Malden (Malden, MO) to meet the Green Wave in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 0-7. Malden lost 62-14 in their recent non-league test against New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO)
