The Church Point Bears walloped the host Pine Prairie Panthers football team by a score of 55-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears face the Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Church Point will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 42-0 league win over Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA).
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Gent go into the 3A District 4 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Crowley was ripped by Iota (Iota, LA), 49-19, in a league challenge.
