Michigan High School Football - Merrill defeated by Coleman

The Coleman Comets were victorious over the visiting Merrill Vandals football team by a score of 36-28 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets face the Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) in a Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Coleman will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 43-0 league win over Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI).

The Vandals (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Charles (St. Charles, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Charles fell by Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI), 26-22, in a non-league challenge.
