Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Granger Spartans (Granger, WA), 25-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Columbia improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Coyotes host Newport (Newport, WA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Newport lost 54-28 in their recent league battle against Freeman (Rockford, WA)

The Spartans now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host River View for a 2B Eastern Washington - East battle on Friday, October 18. Granger will play a Panthers team coming off a 54-12 league loss to Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.
