Texas High School Football - Springtown triumphant over Eastern Hills

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) and the visiting Eastern Hills Highlanders (Fort Worth, TX), witnessed Springtown's football squad wallop Eastern Hills by a tally of 35-0.

The Porcupines (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Diamond Hill-Jarvis (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles enter the 4A-1 Region II District 5 contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Diamond Hill-Jarvis was trounced by Decatur (Decatur, TX), 76-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Highlanders battle the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 5 contest, on Thursday, October 17. Eastern Hills will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 34-0 league win over Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX).
