The Eastern Comets felled the host Sheridan Blackhawks football team by a score of 38-23 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets play the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland challenge, on Friday, October 18. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Gophers go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 42-0 league loss to Carroll (Flora, IN).
The Blackhawks (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Carroll (Flora, IN). The Cougars go into the Hoosier Heartland challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Carroll toppled Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN), 42-0, in a league challenge.
