Pennsylvania High School Football - Yough crushed by Elizabeth Forward

Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA), 45-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Elizabeth Forward advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Warriors host Southmoreland (Alverton, PA) to play the Scotties in a WPIAL AAA Interstate battle on Friday, October 18. The Scotties go into the battle with a record of 7-1. Southmoreland won 28-7 in their recent league battle against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA)

The Cougars now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Greensburg Salem for a WPIAL AAA Interstate battle on Friday, October 18. Yough will play a Golden Lions team coming off a 28-0 league win over Derry (Derry, PA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 5-3.
