The Mary G. Montgomery Vikings football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Fairhope Pirates to 20 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baker for a 7A Region 1 test on Friday, October 18. Mary G. Montgomery will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 41-7 league win over Foley (Foley, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Fairhope drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Daphne (Daphne, AL) to clash with the Trojans in a 7A Region 1 test on Friday, October 18. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-3. Daphne won 27-16 in their recent league test against Bryant (Irvington, AL)
