The Grosse Pointe North Norsemen football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Fitzgerald Spartans to 34 in the Norsemen league triumph on Friday.

The Norsemen now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mott for a non-league test on Friday, October 18. Grosse Pointe North will meet a Marauders squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Fitzgerald drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI) to meet the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, October 18. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 3-4. L'Anse Creuse lost 53-7 in their recent league test against Roseville (Roseville, MI)
