Kentucky High School Football - Southwestern overwhelmed by Franklin County

The Franklin County Flyers walloped the visiting Southwestern Warriors football team by a score of 49-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Flyers face the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Franklin County will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 18-13 league loss to Western Hills (Frankfort, KY).

The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals enter the 5A District 8 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, South Laurel bounced Harlan County (Harlan, KY), 29-15, in a league challenge.
