West Virginia High School Football - Magnolia nudges Frontier

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV) and the visiting Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), witnessed Magnolia's football squad edge Frontier by a count of 34-32.

The Blue Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, St. Marys was nudged by Williamstown (Williamstown, WV), 55-7, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 18. Frontier will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Seminoles enter the contest with a 7-1 record after their 44-14 league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, OH).
