The Furr Brahmans football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Wheatley Wildcats to 27 in the Brahmans league triumph on Friday.

The Brahmans now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Worthing for a 4A-1 Region III District 11 test on Saturday, October 19. Furr will meet a Colts squad coming off a 41-0 league win over Washington (Houston, TX). The Colts record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Wheatley drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Scarborough (Houston, TX) to meet the Spartans in a 4A-1 Region III District 11 test on Friday, October 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-5. Scarborough lost 63-0 in their recent league test against Furr (Houston, TX)
