The Fyffe Red Devils walloped the host Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors football team by a score of 49-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Fyffe will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Broncos go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 44-0 league win over Asbury (Albertville, AL).
The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Geraldine (Geraldine, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region 8 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Geraldine bounced Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL), 63-14, in a league challenge.
