In their next game, the Lancers face the Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) in a Mid-Cities challenge, on Friday, October 18. Norwalk will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 48-13 league loss to Lynwood (Lynwood, CA).

The Gladiators (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Compton Early College (Compton, CA). The Rising Phoenix enter the Mid-Cities challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Compton Early College lost by Paramount (Paramount, CA), 49-7, in a league challenge.
