Alabama High School Football - Pleasant Valley beat Gaston

The Pleasant Valley Raiders football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Gaston Bulldogs to 6 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Sand Mountain for a 2A Region 7 test on Friday, October 18. Pleasant Valley will meet a Bison squad coming off a 47-0 league win over Section (Section, AL). The Bison record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Gaston drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pisgah (Pisgah, AL) to meet the Eagles in a 2A Region 7 test on Friday, October 18. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 7-0. Pisgah won 53-13 in their recent league test against Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL)
