California High School Football - Prospect trounced by Gilroy

Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA), 47-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Gilroy advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Willow Glen (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Rams in a Santa Teresa - Valley battle on Thursday, October 17. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 6-0. Willow Glen won 20-3 in their recent league battle against Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA)

The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Leland for a Santa Teresa - Valley battle on Friday, October 18. Prospect will encounter a Chargers team coming off a 35-7 league win over Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.
