The Granger Lions football squad scored 39 points and limited the host Iola Bulldogs to 19 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somerville for a 2A-2 Region IV District 13 test on Friday, October 18. Granger will clash with a Yeguas squad coming off a 42-41 league win over Burton (Burton, TX). The Yeguas record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Iola drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McDade (McDade, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A-2 Region IV District 13 test on Friday, October 18. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-5. McDade lost 47-0 in their recent league test against Milano (Milano, TX)
