Michigan High School Football - Lakeview crushed by Grosse Pointe South

October 11, 2024: St. Clair Shores, MI 48081

The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils walloped the host Lakeview Huskies football team by a score of 49-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Tars go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 24-21 league loss to Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI).

The Huskies now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Utica Eisenhower for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Lakeview will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 21-14 league win over Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
