Indiana High School Football - Hammond Morton nudges Hobart

In Friday's non-league match, the host Hammond Morton Governors football squad scored a close 61-58 triumph over the Hobart Brickies.

The Governors (3-4) will now prepare for their match against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Cardinals come into the Great Lakes match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, East Chicago Central was nudged by Hammond Central (Hammond, IN), 61-16, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Brickies confront the Highland Trojans (Highland, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads match, on Friday, October 18. Hobart will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 57-0 league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
