The Hinsdale South Hornets walloped the visiting Proviso East Pirates football team by a score of 53-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Hinsdale South will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 21-20 league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL).
The Pirates (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs enter the West Suburban - Gold challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Downers Grove South bounced Leyden (Franklin Park, IL), 33-7, in a league challenge.
