The Hinton Comets felled the visiting Watonga Eagles football team by a score of 23-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets face the Merritt Oilers (Elk City, OK) in a A-I District 1 challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Hinton will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Oilers go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 26-6 league loss to Sayre (Sayre, OK).
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sayre (Sayre, OK). The Eagles go into the A-I District 1 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Sayre toppled Merritt (Elk City, OK), 26-6, in a league challenge.
