New Mexico High School Football - Hope Christian winner over Pojoaque Valley

The Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) football knocked off the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 35-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Robertson for a 3A District 2 outing on Saturday, October 19. Hope Christian will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 28-26 league win over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-0.

With the defeat, Pojoaque Valley drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Elks/elkettes travel to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Braves in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Braves come into the outing with a record of 1-7. Santa Fe Indian lost 37-0 in their recent non-league outing against Thoreau (Thoreau, NM)
